Laser Eye Surgery, Bondi Juction

Dr Patrick Versace has dedicates his practice at Bondi Juction to refractive surgery. He has performed a countless number of refractive surgical procedures both laser and intraocular and continues to be a pioneer of laser surgery for eyes, and a leader in the field.

After achieving degrees in medicine and ophthalmic surgery through the University of Sydney, Dr Versace undertook higher training in refractive surgery to gain the skills and knowledge to position himself as one of the leading refractive surgeons in Australia. LASIK was just beginning to be used and Dr Versace was among the first to use this technique and contribute to its development. He was also the first surgeon in Australia (and the Asia Pacific region) to perform Wavefront guided laser treatments (now known as Wavefront guided LASIK, Zyoptix, Ladarwave) and conducted the early clinical trials resulting in the introduction of these techniques.
