Date: 02/02/2015We contacted Power On Australia to source a solution for a field based weather-monitoring site that required an unusually long run time. Due to the site's remote location, it would take an extremely long time for someone to arrive on-site in the event of a power outage. Power On designed a rectifier and battery product combination housed in a secure, weatherproof cabinet, which provided nearly 24 hours autonomy.
This solution is now part of a continuing rollout of multiple sites across NSW.
