| I am a Registered Psychologist and Gestalt therapist working with couples and individuals helping them overcome difficulties to lead more satisfying lives and fulfilling relationships. For over a decade I have provided relationship counselling and couples therapy to people who have struggled to create loving and satisfying relationships. Many of my clients longed to create respectful, loving and life affirming relationships for years before they began counselling with me. I am passionate about supporting my clients as they become aware of their destructive patterns and find new, more satisfying ways of relating that are based on honesty, respect, and true intimacy. I spent six years in the foothills of the Himalayas studying Buddhist Psychology and meditation. After returning to Australia I searched for ways to blend Eastern spiritual practices and Western Psychology, mindful attention to our inner life, and a full, compassionate engagement with our world. I was looking for a way that integrated a Buddhist, wise and caring, approach to freeing ourselves and society from suffering together with Western ideas of change. |
