| As an Aboriginal woman I am proud of my culture and my ancestors and I would like to share some of it within my Celebrancy service. My father was a Bunjima man from the Pilbara and my mother a Balladong woman from Toodyay. Everyone has a story and I suppose my story begins from being one of nine kids growing up in an Aboriginal family during the 50’s. I can remember having lots of fun with plenty of shenanigans going on. It was definitely character building and a sense of humour was always going to be a personality trait that continues within me. I have been married for over forty years with 4 children and 7 grandchildren so the shenanigans continues. “I see my journey into Civil Celebrancy as a continuation of the many years employed as a human services provider. Its true, I love working with people and my choice of occupation is just a natural progression.” |
