| Bowen Technique is gentle form of bodywork in which subtle movements over muscles and connective tissues send the messages deep into the body, retrieving cellular memory of a preferred state of wellbeing. There are frequent 2-5 min. pauses during session which allows for body to respond and begin the healing process. The technique works with autonomic nerves system to gently correct the muscles, tendons and ligament tensions, assisting in realignment of injured muscles and postural abnormalities. Treatment is not limited to musculoskeletal systems only, but also addresses fascia, nerves, nerves tensions, stress, anxiety and internal organs. The technique improves circulation, lymphatic drainage and aids in the assimilation of nutrients and elimination of toxins.
