DONT GO HERE! I wish I had read these reviews before going to the salon! Its exactly as described. Its a drop in place for all their family and friends, a child running around, in and out having a smoke and the actual haridressing is terrible. I was booked in for a half head of foils, a cut and blow dry. I went in with blonde highlights and mouse brown roots. I came out with brassy greeny/grey blonde colour, flat, non-descript. The toner was clearly left in too long. I asked how much toner was on the phone before I went and I was told 20, when I got there, they tried to charge 30 - I wasnt paying that and when I queried it, she said ok 20 is fine. I am not sure if the salon is actually a hairdressers!

My wife asked to have her hair permed (curls) which took the salon 6 hours to do with 'treatments' they said were necessary. After the 6 hours my wife's hair is still straight and there are no signs of any curls. He also burnt my wifes hair, giving it a very nasty burnt smell. The stylist said that it is normal and that it is my wife's hair that is badly damaged and unable to be curled, when we have done it before at a salon around the corner. He then later admitted that it was his fault, and would be happy to re-do the whole thing within a weeks time.. My wife is concerned because her hair was burnt during that session, so does not want to return and potentially have her hair damaged even further. The stylist also cut my hair, but advertised falsely, stating it would cost $20, but charged $45 for my hair cut stating that it is because he is the senior stylist, yet he was the only one in the store.. He also did a poor job and has left my hair uneven, and even too short in some areas on my head. I took a day off for myself and wife to pamper her for her birthday, as it isn't easy for us to travel to Chatswood from Blacktown, which isnt easy bringing a 1 year old boy to spend 6 hours for basically bad smelling hair, no change in hairstyle, and a shrewed hair cut is well below standard. They said we can come back to re-do the hair, but frankly my wife and I are utterly disgusted with the salon and do not wish to return. I have tried to negotiate with the salon and asked for a refund, even a part refund since they did spend time to try and provide a service, and instead they refused and state that they can only re-do my wifes hair. I have to lodged a complaint with NSW fair trading. When I told them I am not happy with the service, they said I can 'go complain to the police' It was also very hard to communicate with the people working there as their English is very poor, and after reading the fair trading website, I feel they may have health and safety violations.

I would give this 'salon' a worse review if I could. They completely butchered my hair, in spite of me just asking them to leave it alone at the first signs it was all going downhill. In the end, they just said "It doesn't matter if your hair looks bad...your face is pretty". WTF?! The place was also a complete mess, hair everywhere, staff members leaving clients mid-appointment to look after their children, who were playing/crying on the floor of the salon, they were running about 45min late, with people leaving because they were waiting too long for their appointment...which in hindsight, is exactly what I should have done.

Worst hair salon ever imaginable! The service was utterly disgusting! My wife went in for a perm (curls) which she had done previously at a nearby salon which did an amazing job. Since they changed owners, we decided to try this salon.. After 6 HOURS, my wife had the same straight hair she had as she came in! The stylist then went to say that it is because her hair is 'unhealthy' dispite all the 'vitamins and treatment they said was necessary for the curls' On top of the failed attempt to curl my wife's hair, they burnt her hair leaving a very nasty smell.. They cut my hair also, and stated out the front and online that it is $20 but when we went to pay, they said it is $45 because I got it cut from a senior stylist, despite him being the ONLY one in the salon... He also botched my hair, leaving many areas uneven, and too short, and when I specifically told him NOT to use a razor, he did anyway.. He managed to cover up a short patch that he created and I only noticed when I got home! In an attempt to contact the store the next day to discuss a refund, they said it is not possible, but they will re-do my hair cut and my wife's perm.. 1. I don't have much hair left for them to fix, 2. Who would spend another 6 hours for a failed attempt and potentially damage their hair again.. We explained our situation and that travelling to Chatswood takes us over an hour to get there, especially with a 1 year old boy and my work schedule.. All we got from them was a 'go complain to the police' and just rudely hung up. I have taking this issue up with NSW fair trading.. Please please please, save yourself the trouble and stay far far away from this horrible place!!!

Well I was swindled out of the cut on the half head of foils - as I was told to disregard the "$49 to include half foils etc" as an addition to the $29 service, and instead directed to regard that only the "full colour plus cut etc" included the cut... Judging by these earlier reviews I'm sooo lucky. I was immediately attended to, I can't complain about the hairdresser's technique (application of colour) however, two and half hours later and orange brassy tones (some more orange than others) rather than ashy blonde tones, (which I did advise, as I'm darkhaired, and which is achievable and was already evident due to previous 'single' colour treatment provided by a different salon - that was also not without some mishaps - seriously!!! how?), had to leave salon with wet hair for other previously booked appointment - seriously, two and half hours for half foils that did not include full lengths of the strands but rather 4cm or so of the roots. The child didn't cry during my stay, however I was worried about the child wandering the shop etc. I won't be returning.

Can I just add to my last comment that I think you should contact the Department of Fair Trading if you are not happy (ha ha ha) and make a complaint .... they are probably not licensed or qualified?? Why should they get away with your money and that sort of terrible service and behavior????? You never know what you will get if you don't try! Good Luck :)

I feel very sorry for all you poor gals who gave it a go and put faith in what could only be described as a "very unprofessional" and "incredibly dishonest" business!!! I was very frustrated & so annoyed that I never got an answer to my many phone calls when I bought 2 vouchers for half head of foils, but having just read all these terrible reviews I am now very happy (for me) they were so lousy about answering phones & e-mails. I got a full refund for both vouchers from Groupon when I told them that I was unable to contact this terrible Merchant!!!! Groupon obviously tried too, or read all these very bad reviews, and decided not to try to pretend that this was a legitimate offer!!!! Businesses like this should die a quick death before they do too much damage to unsuspecting customers.

After reading these reviews i didnt go to the salon to use my voucher. It would not be worth it. This is absolutely terrible! Dont worry, If they continue such bad service and behaviour, they wont be around much longer!

Filthy , filthy, filthy place on earth. Avoid these place as you will be very disappointed. Horrible atmosphere and service. Don't know whether is true these people have qualification. They cut my hair uneven and keep dropping brush and scissor on dirty floor! Floor NEVER been swept at all.

OMG - how I wish I had read these comments before taking my teenage daughter for her first ever foils. I can not believe these people can still be allowed to operate. So much for a pleasureable first hairdressing experience. After sitting there for 4hrs we finally gave up and walked out with wet dripping hair (uncut - I had to go somewhere else to get my hair cut on the way back to our car). The place was filthy, the gentlemen hairdresser was more interested in having a smoke out on the footpath while the female hairdresser was caught up with changing the baby's pooey nappy while our foils were only half finished. The towels stunk, my hair feels like wire and they had the hide to ask for more money. A hairdressing inspector (if one exists) would shut them down. Do they actually have any qualifications???

I bought a voucher for $29 for a cut, treatment and blowdry. Worst experience EVER and i ran out crying by the end. Details: 1.dirty place and pretty sure they reused towels 2.they could not speak english or even try to understand what i wanted 3.the male hairdresser was very rough and kept pulling and dropping the brush and scissors 4. i asked for a straigh blow dry and got a curly one 5. asked them to straighten it and they said it's an extra $25 6. they cut my hair uneven - inches appart on either side 7. i have a rats tail at the back HOW ON EARTH ARE THEY ALLOWED TO PRACTICE!!??!

They took the voucher for $69 then told me what it didn't cover and demanded $100 more. I walked out and phoned groupon who said I need to wait for a few weeks while they investigate. Meanwhile the woman at the hairdressers had already scanned the barcode on the voucher. Groupon said it looks as though I've already used it! The place was dirty, cluttered and the woman who started to do my hair while giving me the extra costs was holding a baby in her arms the whole time. I kept waiting for a hairdresser to come through the door, but nobody else came. I just left - I think groupon and this place just conned me out of $69!

I bought a groupon voucher for full colour. My hair is dark. I was made to pay $100 more because I need 'a lot of bleach'. Even though it doesn't say anything about extra for dark hair on the voucher. Groupon washed their hands of it and I'm sitting here with a really awful hair colour that looks like I did it at home with peroxide. I hate that I can't even get Groupon to fix this. They totally couldn't care less about dissatisfied customers because so many people use their vouchers. Please don't ever go to this hairdresser - you will regret it forever.

I also bought a groupon voucher for this place before christmas. I rang before I paid and explained my daughters hair was dark and she wanted to colour it red. I was told to pay $69 for the full head even though she wanted just the lower half of her hair coloured. I rang twice to confirm this was the case. they said to pay the higher amount $69 because her hair was long/dark. When we got there for the appointment we had to wait half an hour for the stylist. So finally he arrives and while my daughter was sitting in the chair, they said I was up for AT LEAST another $100 because she had dark hair. I rang groupon and was told that it would take them 5-15 days to get back to me about this. In the meantime, I had to pay $100 extra on top of the $69 I already paid to groupon. The colour is lousy - uneven, one side is bright and the other very faint. I told them I rang and specifically informed the person over the ph that my daughters hair was dark. They told me it didn't matter what she said, she was wrong, and it's not their fault. They said the person they hired to take all 'the groupon calls' told me the wrong information and it's 'my problem'. I will NEVER use Groupon again for selling this unprofessional, dirty, unhygienic outfit and then pretending that they didn't know what they were like. Surely there is some quality control?

Worst experience I've ever had. It took 4 hours of my day, the place is dirty and the service is very poor. Plus I had to listen to their crying baby the whole time I was there. The poor thing was just left to cry in the corner. Disgusting place and terrible hairdressing. Stay away!

I purchased a groupon voucher forthis salon. $69 for full head of foils, style cut, treatment and blowdry. They tried to charge me extra cause I have 'long' hair. My hair is medium length. The service was appalling, they called to cancel my initial appointment and when I rebooked, they were 30mins late in opening the salon. had me waiting outside their shop and did not pencil in my appointment when they contacted me to rebook. i was willing to overlook thus but they completely butchered my hair. the cut is uneven, i.wanted a ballayage and instead I have an orange stripe going down the middle of my head. they then tried to tell me that it looked great when what i wanted was an ombre ballayage. All i got was an orange stripe from the roots right down the middle.of my head. It was a complete disappointment and I would not go back there if someone paid me to. They would not listen to what i wanted, tried to charge everyone that came in there with the voucher extra money, when the conditions clearly stated what you were paying for. Anyone who purchased a groupon voucher reading this, do yourself a favour and cancel it. i was not the only dissatisfied customer, they had arguments with all other clients in the salon.
