You might not realise it but whether or not you're smiling can have a significant impact how others perceive you.
When you smile, others are more likely to smile back, and are more drawn to you, thereby increasing your confidence and happiness even more. A white, sparkly smile exudes confidence to those around you. People are more likely to assume you have positive qualities – they perceive you as more sociable, trustworthy and intelligent, compared to when you aren't smiling.
In most cases, the natural colour of teeth is within a range of light greyish-yellow shades. Teeth naturally darken with age and their appearance can be affected by the accumulation of surface stains acquired from the use of tobacco products and the consumption of certain foods or drinks.
Although teeth are not naturally meant to be completely white, we all feel better with a brighter smile.
