BUILDING ENERGY RATINGS + ADVICE
Every new home and major renovation is required to comply with the National Construction Codes Energy Efficiency Measures. In most cases, this will involve obtaining a NatHERS Energy Rating Certificate showing that the home rates at 6 Stars or higher.
Commercial Builds need to comply with Section J for Energy Efficiency.
BERA is able to produce an Energy Rating Certificate or Section J Report showing compliance.
BERA is a dedicated industry specialist providing accurate and timely Building Energy Rating Reports, assessments, and advice.
We assess all types of new homes, units, townhouses and apartments, as well as major renovations, and provide the 6 Star Energy Rating Report that is required for pre-build certification. BERA has experience working with Owner Builders, Government Contractors, Volume Builders, Certifiers, Building Designers and Architects.
BERA is also able to complete a "Deemed To Satisfy" Assessment for compliance with Section J commercial builds.
We have a pro-active “can-do” attitude. If a report does not meet standards initially, we will work with you to obtain an outcome that is satisfactory to all parties involved - with no additional fee charged.
BERA is fully insured and accredited with the BDAV. While BERA has most experience in Queensland, we are licensed to rate homes all States of Australia, including the NT.
