APPALLING SERVICE, BEWARE!!! Despite the promise on their website to make our move easy and simple, this company failed completely at both. This company uses subcontracted movers, so they themselves take essentially no direct responsibility for what happens, or the equipment and labour provided. The movers turned up underprepared- with a truck that had no hydraulic lift, only one trolley with hard wheels, no ramps or rolling boards, and two men who appeared very inexperienced. When we insisted on a trolley with tyres to prevent damage to the floors, the company made the movers go to Bunnings to buy one out of their own pocket- they returned almost three hours later with one flimsy $26.94 trolley, only rated at 250kg (technically not sufficient for moving a large fridge). The movers were extremely slow, and complained regularly about how difficult the move was. In order to complete the move that day, we had to help for the whole time (instead of allowing the movers to do the task, as we had planned). Additionally, we had to call in another friend to help. These movers, (with the help of three additional people), took longer to move our house than it took myself and one other person to move the same contents by ourselves last time. In the process of the move, the movers damaged a wall, and despite providing photographic evidence to the company, they refused to compensate or repair the wall, or even acknowledge that the damage was cause by the movers, as the movers denied doing any damage (which can be described as disingenuous at best). I cannot more emphatically recommend against using this company!
